In 2020 Mount Athos Hotel, built on the site of one of the first hotels in Halkidiki with a rich history since 1967, has been a favorite getaway destination for Greece's high society thanks to its excellent location and the beauty of the area. This brand new five star hotel will welcome its guests in 76 modern rooms and suites, which are located in the main building and in separate bungalows. The resort is situated at the end of the picturesque town od Ierissos, next to its harbour and 10km from the border of Mount Athos. Thessaloniki airport is 105km away.
